About us
In 1961, the first director, Ushio Yasutake, established the Obstetrics and Gynecology Yasutake Iin in Imazuru, which has since been renewed as Yasutake Clinic.
In the Orthopedics department, I, Chie Yasutake, the director, will be in charge, while my younger brother, Gentarou Yasutake, the vice-director, will oversee the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. We listen attentively to our patients, provide thorough explanations, and strive to deliver clear and satisfactory medical care. Orthopedics is a medical specialty that focuses on restoring the function of the musculoskeletal system. It aims to functionally improve conditions and injuries related to the joints, bones, ligaments, tendons, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and intervertebral discs, which are essential for body movement, particularly in the limbs (arms, hands, legs, and feet).
Japan's average life expectancy is among the highest in the world for both men and women, however, healthy life expectancy for independent and healthy living is not much different from that of other countries. Proper care of the musculoskeletal system is crucial for extending healthy life expectancy.

Our clinic has been serving the community's obstetric and gynecological needs for over 50 years, since the time of our previous director. We aim to be the "family doctor" for women of all ages, from preschool girls to elderly women, and we provide daily medical services. In particular, we focus on menopausal care and the health management of adolescent women, collaborating with other departments such as orthopedics, internal medicine, and psychosomatic medicine.
In cases where hospitalization or surgery is necessary due to malignant tumors or during childbirth, we refer patients to affiliated medical institutions such as university hospitals, prefectural hospitals, Almeida Hospital, Japan Red Cross Hospital, and medical centers, and collaborate with them in providing care.
